Basic Plus Hosting
Basic+ Hosting services are invoiced in advance at $11.50/month or $140/year. This plan is for content management sites which are managed by the customer. Up to 10 GB of disk space is allotted to your site with up to 250 GB/month of data transfer.
In Basic+ Hosting, the customer or a website administrator appointed by the customer is responsible for maintaining, updating, and backing up the content managed site. The customer is also responsible for fixing all site issues or contacting Mennonite.net customer support if they think it is a server issue.
One free domain name registration is included for each site upon transfer to the MennoHost registration service. Extra domain names can be hosted upon request and are paid by the customer at the regular retail rate in effect at the time of transfer or renewal.
Special Note for WordPress Customers
Due to Mennonite.net’s security structure, Basic+ managing their own WordPress sites can have their WordPress core updated at no charge each time WordPress comes out with a new version. Customers may choose to waive this service and update the core via FTP if they wish. Customers can also request a temporary rollback to an older version of WordPress while they resolve theme and/or plugin conflicts. Basic+ customers running WordPress are required to update their own themes and plugins regularly.
