Basic Hosting services are invoiced automatically in advance at your choice of $8.25/month or $100/year). You design your site on your own computer using your own software and then upload the site to your Mennonite.net FTP account. Basic Hosting is for simple HTML sites which don’t need extra databases created. For a content management system in your space, please choose Basic+. Up to 5 GB of disk space is allotted to your site with up to 125 GB/month of data transfer.
In Basic Hosting, the customer or a website administrator appointed by the customer is responsible for maintaining, updating, and backing up the site. The customer is also responsible for fixing all site issues or contacting Mennonite.net customer support if they think it is a server issue. One free domain name registration is included for each site upon transfer to the MennoHost registration service. Extra domain names can be hosted upon request and are paid by the customer at the regular retail rate in effect at the time of transfer or renewal.
